引《韩非子·备内》：“明王不举不参之事，不食非常之食，远听而近视以审内外之失，省同异之言以明朋党之分。”

⒉ 视力缺陷的一种。看近清楚，看远模糊。这是由于眼球的晶状体和网膜的距离过长或晶状体折光力过强，使进入眼球的影像不能正落在网膜上而落在网膜的前面，致使成像不清。可戴用凹透镜制成的眼镜加以矫正。

⒈ 医学上指由于眼球的前后径过长，使与视轴平行进入眼中的光线，焦点落于视网膜之前，称为「近视」。患者须靠近物体才能看得清楚，目前还没有完全抑止的方法，可　配戴眼镜矫正。

⒉ 比喻眼光短浅。
